Day 3
Our trip is going smoothly we are seeing great sites and places and we are still on time. We now have gone thru Nebraska and into Illinois and Iowa. Stopped at a great Fort, it is called Fort Cody and Trading Post. The girls enjoyed the hands on activities and the tin toys that were all set up and moved were really cool. then we went thru the trading post and this is where my youngest decided she needed a coyote tail. No matter how I tried to get her interested in a different souvenier she just wanted that. She slept with it the whole trip. They all thought the 2 headed cow was cool too:) Now we are headed to Hoover national musuem to earn their first Jr ranger badge and learn about 1 of our presidents. come back tomorrow

Utah and Wyoming
So on our second day into our trip. We head on in to Utah and was I surprised to find out all that Utah is known for. It has some awesome rock formations along several shows have been filmed there. We definately learned several things. Oh by the way very clean rest areas and pleasent staff to help with any questions.
Then into Wyoming, we stop at the beginning of Yellowstone and was able to see some elk and the viewing area had a great view. The kiddos enjoyed standing around in front of the cover wagon. Also viewing the suffed animals inside. Now the rest areas in this state when we first pulled in looked really nice and there was a herd of deer inthe side yard there. But then as we walked up the sign that said watch out for rattlesnakes kind of killed the moment. Because this is not what I want to see when I need to use the rest room lol.
be back tomorrow with day 3.
Lets not forget we have to get our bowling in. This alley was small but cute and they were so nice. This is Pla mor Lanes in Wyoming if you ever get that way you might want to stop and play a game or 2:)
Here the girls are after bowling wearing the hats that the owner of the Alley gave them.

| started out with all smiles |
We started our cross country trip about 3 in the afternoon with smiling kiddos. We headed out thru Oregon then over to Idaho. We spent the night in Idaho. We made a few stops but I just wanted to get on our way. It was a pretty uneventful state except for the bird that flew into the windshield of the RV. Didnt do damage to the windshield but did hurt the bird bad. We ended with very pretty skies to fall asleep looking at. tune in tomorrow for our next days adventures:)
